Die Blüte öffnet sich temperaturabhängig in 2 bis 4 Stunden. Der Stempel und die Staubgefäße sind noch sehr klein, wachsen aber im Laufe von weiteren 3 Tagen zur vollen Länge von ca. 4 bis 5 cm heran.

Temperature dependent, the flower opens within 2 – 4 h. The stems and anthers are tiny when the flower opens but continue growing for 3 days until they got a length of about 4 to 5 cm.

Dependiente de la temperatura ambiental. la apertura de la flor pasa relativamente rápido (2-3 h). Los estambres y los pistilos son pequeños, pero siguen creciendo por aprox. 3 días mas y finalmente miden 4 – 5 cm
