The Indian Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Shri .S. Gandhiselvan and his delegates visited the Scarborough General Hospital after they paid a courtesy call on THA Chief Secretary Orville London at the Calder Hall Administrative Complex on Thursday (October 18, 2012).
The delegation was on a one-day visit to Tobago as the Government of India has engaged in a dialogue for meaningful outcomes in the medicinal plants sector.
In addition, the Government would like the signing of a separate Memorandum of Understanding between India and Trinidad and Tobago.
Possible areas of cooperation between the two countries would include medical plant research and training in pharmacy science in India.
